My Friday Favorite is Marat’s Restaurant….simply one of the best Armenian restaurants in the Valley!
Marat’s is a family owned restaurant that specializes in authentic, dare I say homemade, Armenian food. It’s not uncommon to find Gayane and her sister preparing a dish at the kitchen island and Marat or his dad standing at the grill, while Johnny is chatting with customers, taking orders and serving what I like to call, “heaven on a plate”.
If you have not had the pleasure of dining at Marat’s, may I suggest you carve out some time and get over there? Whether you are a connoisseur of or have never partaken of Armenian food, you will not be disappointed! Be sure to leave room for dessert, because Gayane’s Napoleon will knock your socks off!
